Who runs the tool

The tool is operated by Enkefalos Holdings Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17301883, based in London (“we”). The tool was made for Gallagher Specialty and is intended to be hosted by Gallagher. Until it is, Enkefalos Holdings Ltd runs it as a preview. You can reach us at alexander@enkefalos.co.uk.

What the tool is

The tool compares the International Group P&I clubs on figures drawn from the clubs’ own published reports, from S&P Global Ratings’ published ratings and, only where the club publishes no figure, from a secondary source, read from those documents by hand. The source of every figure, with the document, its page and the date it was read, is on the Data page. The tool is free to use and is provided for information only.

Not advice, and not an offer

Nothing in the tool is advice of any kind, whether on insurance, finance, investment, law or anything else. Nothing in it is an offer of insurance, a recommendation of any club, or an invitation to enter into any contract, and it takes no account of anyone’s circumstances or needs. Decisions about insurance should be made on proper advice and on the clubs’ own documents.

The figures

We take care in reading and checking the figures, but they may contain errors; a club may restate a figure after it was read; and figures published on different bases may not compare exactly, which the Data page notes where it applies. We do not guarantee that any figure is accurate, complete or up to date. Check any figure against its source before you rely on it.

If a figure looks wrong, please report it as the Data page describes, or write to us at alexander@enkefalos.co.uk, giving the club, the year, the metric and what you think the figure should be.

Names, logos and marks

The Gallagher and Gallagher Specialty names and logo belong to Gallagher. The clubs’ names and marks belong to the clubs, and S&P Global Ratings’ name and ratings belong to S&P Global. They appear in the tool to identify the clubs and the sources of the figures; their appearance does not mean that any club or S&P Global endorses the tool. These terms give you no right to use any of them.

Using the tool

You may use the tool, and export and print what it shows, for your work. You must not:

• try to disrupt the site, or to reach any part of it, or of the systems that host it, that is not meant to be public;
• read the site by automated means, such as scraping or crawling, in a way that puts a burden on it;
• use the tool for anything unlawful.

Availability

We provide the tool as it is and as it is available. We may change it, or stop providing it, at any time, and we do not promise that it will always be available or free of faults.

Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded under the law of England and Wales.

Subject to that, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss that arises from relying on any figure or anything else in the tool, or from the tool being unavailable, and we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss of profit, revenue, business, contract or goodwill.

How the tool handles personal data is set out in the Privacy policy, and what it keeps on your device in the Cookie policy.

Law and courts

These terms, and any dispute about them or about the tool, are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales may hear any such dispute; if you live elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms, for example when the tool moves to Gallagher’s own hosting. The terms on this page apply from the date they last changed: 18 October 2026.
